GlobalCapital Global Derivatives Awards 2019: the winners

GlobalCapital is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Global Derivatives Awards. The winners were unveiled at a gala dinner at the Banking Hall in London on Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, GlobalCapital hosted its global derivatives awards for 2019 at a gala dinner at the Banking Hall in London. The sold out event saw Bank of America Merrill Lynch crowned global derivatives house of the year. Other winners included Mayer Brown, Credit Suisse, Citadel Securities, BMO Global Asset Management, BGC Partners, JCRA, LCH and Société Générale

The process of deciding the winners began in the summer, when GlobalCapital began to meet with market participants to hear the stories of their firms’ successes over the last 12 months. Some 120 pitches were heard in total, and all contained stories of excellence. An editorial panel then decided the winners of the awards.

As ever, we were looking for the stories of innovation, going the extra mile for clients and industry advocacy that have powered the improvement of the global derivatives markets.

Those stories abounded and competition was so strong that it was more difficult than ever to decide the winners, who are listed below.

Our congratulations to the winners and the runners up.
