Dollar investors flocking to SSAs

Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD) hit the market for dollar paper on Tuesday, with the Manila-based supra going for five years and the French agency opting for three years.

ADB selected Bank of America, Citi, HSBC and TD Securities to run the books for a new five year benchmark. The proceeds will go partially towards its $20bn Covid-19 response package.
