Korea’s Coupang throws open $3.6bn US IPO

Coupang, an e-commerce company, has kicked off bookbuilding for an up to $3.6bn IPO that is set to be the largest ever US listing by a South Korean issuer.

Seoul-headquartered Coupang is the largest product e-commerce company in Korea. It is listing on the New York Stock Exchange through its Delaware, US-based parent.
