The Democrat side of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission has come out swinging against agreed changes to the Volcker rule.
Early this week, The CFTC approved changes that are viewed by many as a relaxation of the ban on proprietary trading by banks introduced by the Volcker rule in 2013. It means that from the beginning of next year, positions held for less than 60 days by banks
