Cyprus eyes further curve extension

After pushing out its yield curve to 30 years this week, Cyprus is keeping an eye open for issuing even longer maturities, according to an official at the country's Public Debt Management Office (PDMO).

Cyprus issued a €750m May 2049 bond on Wednesday with a spread of mid-swaps plus 175bp, alongside a December 2024 bond with a spread of mid-swaps plus 60bp. BarclaysDeutsche BankGoldman SachsJP MorganMorgan Stanleyand Société Générale led the deal.
