About the awards:

After a hectic year in the global bond markets, GlobalCapital's annual gala dinner will take place on May 20 in London's Guildhall. This spectacular event gives the world's issuers and capital markets bankers an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the past 12 months and look forwards to the challenges ahead.

As ever, the centerpiece of the dinner will be the GlobalCapital Bond Market Awards - for the best borrowers, banks and bankers in the sovereign, supranational and agency, FIG, corporate and emerging markets sectors.

The awards are the result of an exhaustive market poll, with banks voting for their preferred issuers and borrowers rewarding those banks they consider to have performed best.

Successful execution has been challenging at times, in a volatile 12 months. But the need for investors to hit ever smaller yield targets and meet an ever more demanding list of regulations has spurred bond market innovation and quick thinking.

GlobalCapital's awards will recognise those issuers that have navigated tough markets - and those banks that have helped their clients - better than their rivals.

This is your night: a time to celebrate with your colleagues and clients, a chance to reflect on the best that the bond market has to offer.
