Ant covers $34bn Hong Kong-Shanghai IPO

Chinese financial technology company Ant Group is set to raise $34.3bn from the world’s largest ever IPO, after covering the deal within minutes of launch.

Ant opened the offering, which is split over Hong Kong’s stock exchange and the Shanghai-based Star market, on Monday evening local time. The company is listing 1.67bn shares on each bourse, which are on offer at HK$80.00 ($10.32) and Rmb68.80 ($10.26), respectively.
