Russia's Ilim in market to refinance $500m loan

Russian pulp and paper producer Ilim Group has launched syndication to refinance a $500m loan, according to bankers. The loan is one of the last expected to be signed in Russia's international syndicated market this year.

The existing loan is a four year unsecured term loan, signed in 2017. Mandated lead arrangers on it were Intesa Sanpaolo and Raiffeisen Bank International. 

Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Crédit Agricole, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China and Korea Development Bank joined as participants.
