CME enjoys record quarter in APAC

CME Group has reported record quarterly derivatives volumes in the Asia Pacific region along with an upturn in global trading volumes.

The derivatives exchange said Asia Pacific average daily volume (ADV) stood at 1.2m contracts in the third quarter. It marks CME’s highest ever quarterly Asia Pacific ADV and a 61% year-on-year rise. The previous record of 1.1 m ADV for the region was set in the preceding quarter.
