'We are all in this together' is not a view Europe’s investment banks will recognise when they compare themselves with their formidable US rivals, writes David Rothnie.

In his annual letter to shareholders, JP Morgan chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon expressed faith that "the countries and citizens of the global community will get through this unprecedented situation, undoubtedly stronger for it."
