Vakifbank to follow sovereign into market

Vakifbank will be the next borrower to join the growing list of Turkish credits returning to the bond market after the nation’s currency crisis in 2018.

Vakifbank has selected Citi and JP Morgan as global co-ordinators for a five year Reg S/144A dollar benchmark. ING, Mizuho, MUFG and SMBC Nikko will join the deal as bookrunners.

The issuer will come to market following a global investor call on Wednesday.
