InnoCare Pharma soars after online listing ceremony

Chinese biotechnology company InnoCare Pharma’s shares surged over 10% on their Monday debut, following an online opening ceremony for the HK$2.2bn ($288.7m) listing in Hong Kong.
The trading debut of a company after a public listing on the HKEX is usually marked by an event at the stock exchange, attracting executives, bankers, lawyers and journalists. But amid the coronavirus-based restrictions, InnoCare’s ceremony was moved online.
