The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission has finally put forward its much anticipated proposed rules to amend regulation of swap execution facilities.
CFTC commissioners met on Monday to hear proposals from the regulator’s Division of Market Oversight (DMO). The proposals are seen as a crucial moment in chairman Christopher Giancarlo's chairmanship of the Commission and have been expected since July.
