Yankuang mines for new bond as others line up deals

Yankuang Group Company has become the only issuer from Asia ex-Japan to venture into the dollar market on Thursday, a US holiday for Thanksgiving. But many other Chinese issuers are waiting in the wings, with a flurry of mandates announced.

Sole global co-ordinator Goldman Sachs set initial guidance for coal miner Yankuang’s three year bond at the 5.25% area on Thursday morning Asia time. The bank is also a bookrunner and lead manager with GF Securities and Orient Securities (Hong Kong).
