The derivatives market is being overhauled in fundamental ways by the forces of regulation, the competitive pressure on fees and advances in electronic platforms that offer more and more bespoke trade parameters. However, some derivatives are thin and illiquid and it’s difficult to conceive of them in a multi-quote or futuresque environment. Others clearly are ready and the migration in to the light will be a speedy one.
With that complex, textured picture in mind, Derivatives Week is bringing you its second annual look at developments in electronic trading. We’ve drawn together our global team of reporters in New York, London and Hong Kong and drilled down on the regional and product nuances in electronic trading.
We hope you find the analysis useful
