Alberta makes rare Kangaroo outing

The Province of Alberta made a rare appearance in the Kangaroo market on Wednesday, printing A$100m with a February 2046 bond. Daiwa Capital Markets ran the books.

The trade was priced at par, yielding 2.4725%

Alberta has four outstanding bonds in Australian dollars, most recently tapping the market in April 2020 for A$170m at 2.4%.
