Yankees take pole position as JP goes green

Seven Yankee banks stole a march this week in the race to frontload funding, as September got off to its usual red-hot start in dollars.

BBVA, Danske Bank, Deutsche Bank, DNB Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Sumitomo Mistui Trust Group and Toronto Dominion all peppered the short end of the curve with senior or non-preferred senior paper as they took home more than $12bn.
