Market welcomes new Natixis CEO Namias

Investors appeared positive on Natixis's prospects after Nicolas Namias replaced François Riahi as chief executive. Meanwhile, the bank has said it will reposition its equities division after it endured another tough quarter.

Natixis hired Namias to replace Riahi from Tuesday. It said Riahi’s departure was “due to strategic differences regarding the options of Natixis’ future plan”. Riahi had been CEO since June 2018.
