Investors split on UK’s plans for 15 year syndication

At a consultation on Monday, Gilt-Edged Market Makers and investors were divided on the UK’s proposal for a new 15 year Gilt to be sold through syndication in September.

In a statement published by the UK Debt Management Office on Tuesday of the record of the consultation calls, the DMO said GEMMs “generally expressed support” for a new Gilt in the 15 year area of the curve in the first half of September.
