HKEX suspends derivatives trading

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) suspended trading in its derivatives market on Thursday amid connectivity issues.

In a statement, the operator of Hong Kong’s stock exchange said it was suspending trading in its derivatives market for the afternoon and after-hours trading sessions at 2pm Hong Kong time on Thursday, in order to preserve an orderly market.
