Twelve year shines as Danaher raises €6.25bn

Danaher printed its much anticipated €6.25bn jumbo bond issue on Tuesday. The US conglomerate, rated A2/A, focused its five tranches on intermediate to longer tenors, which corporate syndicate bankers took to indicate where many investors want to put their money.

“It ties in with a lower yielding environment,” said a syndicate banker. “Generally, if you look at the multi-tranche transactions, the support for the longer dated, higher yielding tranches has definitely been a bright spot.”
