CCPs push back on default recommendations

The Global Association of Central Counterparties (CCP12) has warned against further regulation of default management auctions and the risk of adopting a “one-size-fits-all” auction approach to central counterparty clearing houses (CCPs).

On Monday, the CCP12 published its response to the joint discussion paper on central counterparty default management auctions that was released by the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures and the International Organization of Securities Commissions in June.
