LCH signs up Bank of China

Bank of China’s UK entity has signed up to LCH’s SwapClear service to clear interest rate derivatives.

Bank of China (UK) is the first clearing member from a Chinese banking group to sign up to the UK-based CCP’s SwapClear offering. Bank of China’s UK entity will also act as a clearing broker, thereby offering clearing services to its own client base.
