BofA Boosts China Sales

Bank of America has increased its coverage of the Chinese fixed income derivatives market with a senior level hire.

Bank of America has increased its coverage of the Chinese fixed income derivatives market with a senior level hire. Sun Jie, fixed income marketer at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Singapore, has joined the bank in Hong Kong as a managing director in fixed income sales. "We needed to dedicate more resources to this market," said Alvin Chua, head of institutional sales for Asia, to whom Sun now reports.

Nuala Connolly, spokeswoman at Dresdner in Tokyo, said Sun has been replaced by Patrick Bei, fixed income marketer in the Lion City, who joined from HSBC in recent months.
