Abanka launches as market waits for Transcapitalbank

Slovenia’s Abanka Vipa launched a Eu140m syndicated loan on Thursday, becoming the third eastern European FI in a week to hit the market.

Abanka, rated A3/-/BBB and Slovenia’s third biggest bank by assets, is paying a margin of 110bp for the three year amortising facility. BayernLB, Commerzbank, Erste Bank, ING, Intesa Sanpaolo, RZB and UniCredit are bookrunners.The borrower last tapped the market with an Eu80m one year line in August 2008. ...
