Ooredoo calls on investors for dollar bond

Qatari telecommunications company Ooredoo started investor calls on Monday for a conventional dollar bond after a five year hiatus from the market.
Ooredoo, which was known previously as Qtel and is majority-owned by the state of Qatar, has mandated Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citi, Crédit Agricole, DBS Bank, Mizuho, QNB Capital and Standard Chartered are joint lead managers and bookrunners.
Investor calls started on Monday.
