Santander UK makes summer saving in dollars

Santander UK has been quick to price a new deal in the US dollar market after its results, making a saving over the funding levels on offer in euros or sterling.

The issuer opened books on a new six year non-call five senior bond from its holding company on Monday. 

Citi, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Santander were running the deal, which was registered with the SEC.
