Ghana shows off EM enthusiasm with $14bn book

The Republic of Ghana printed a $3bn triple trancher on Tuesday from a book that was $14bn at launch, in a deal that included the longest ever bond from sub-Saharan Africa.

The country printed a $1.25bn 6.375% 2027 tranche with a weighted average life (WAL) of six years, a $1bn 7.875% 2035s with a WAL of 14 year, and a $750m 8.75% 2061 with a WAL of 40 years.
