BSE launches interest rate options

India’s Bombay Stock Exchange has launched trading in interest rate options linked to the country’s government bonds.

Having introduced interest rate futures in January 2014, BSE said it was expanding its interest rate derivatives product suite by launching options. 

BSE claimed to be the “first and only exchange” to provide trading in interest rate options linked to rupee interest rates.
