Shields down as TT top dog departs

Drew Shields, the chief technology officer at derivatives technology company Trading Technologies, has stood down.

Shields leaves the company after more than five years, having taken up a new role as executive director at the New York offices of PDT Partners, a hedge fund company that pursues quantitative-driven investment strategies.
