Indonesian cement maker finds five for $1.3bn bridge

Cement maker Semen Indonesia has mandated five banks for a $1.282bn bridge loan to support its acquisition of the local unit of Swiss firm LafargeHolcim.

BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank Singapore branch, Maybank, MUFG Bank and Standard Chartered are the mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners for the two year bridge, which will be launched into syndication in two to three weeks, according to a company announcement and a banker close to the situation.
