Origin goes live with online private placement platform

Origin, an electronic platform for private placement issuance, went live on Monday, with six investment banks and more than 20 borrowers having access to the beta version.

Origin claims to simplify the MTN issuance process by providing a platform for issuers to efficiently communicate their funding levels to dealers. The platform also allows the production of standardised termsheets and the automation of cross-currency calculations.
