Credit Suisse First Boston has retooled its Hong Kong-based equity desk on the back of a recent transfer to New York. John Miller, managing director in the equity derivatives and convertibles unit in Hong Kong, recently moved to New York to head up the Latin American equity derivatives business, according to Josephine Lee, spokeswoman. Alexander Lin, director in the equity derivatives and convertibles unit in Hong Kong, has been promoted to managing director and has assumed Miller's responsibilities heading up the Asia-Pacific options group. Lin declined comment.
