Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein has hired Michael Carras, an interest-rate derivatives trader at Barclays Capital in New York, to trade U.S. dollar interest rate swaps. Dresdner made the hire as part of an effort to strengthen dollar swap trading, said Mark Enman, head of bond and interest-rate derivatives trading at Dresdner in New York. Carras takes over this role from Enman, who had traded the book since he joined the firm in March (DW, 3/28). Carras referred calls to Enman.
Karina Byrne, spokeswoman at Barclays in New York, declined comment.
