Lehman Brothers last week brought aboardFumio Nashiro, head of distribution at Bear Stearns in Tokyo, in a new role as a managing director in equity structured product sales in Tokyo. Nashiro confirmed the move, but declined further comment.
"This is definitely a big-name hire for Lehman," said one market official in Tokyo, noting that Nashiro has a reputation as a rainmaker from his days at Bear Stearns and Bank of America (DW, 3/9/02).
