JPMorgan has hired Benjamin Ho, a senior v.p. and tranche correlation trader with Lehman Brothers in New York, in a similar role. He will report to Andy Silver, who has been transferred to New York from London to run index tranche trading. Silver confirmed the hire. Ho did not respond to an e-mail sent through Bloomberg.
At Lehman, Ho reported to Jim Ballentine, global head of structured credit in New York, who declined comment on any replacement for Ho.
