Greece passes buyback hurdle
The Greek buyback of PSI bonds has been deemed a success despite Athens having to pay a higher price than expected. The buyback period also had to be extended by two days to reach the €30bn target required to release the next tranche of €34.4bn of bail-out loans. This should be confirmed at Thursday’s eurogroup meeting.
