HSBC has hired Michael Zim, former senior foreign exchange options trader at AIG Trading in Greenwich, Conn., for a similar role in New York. Zim, who could not be reached, left AIG late last year when the firm merged with AIG Financial Products (DW, 11/24).
At HSBC, Zim reports to Matt Desselberger, global head of fx options in London. He referred calls to Pamela Plehn, spokeswoman in New York, who declined comment.
