Dan Curry, head of international structured finance at Moody's Investors Service in London, is moving back to the States to co-head the corporate finance business. Frederic Drevon, a managing director in Curry's structured finance team, will become the group managing director and assume Curry's former responsibilities. Drevon did not return calls.
Curry said the move was sparked by a reorganization at the top, which saw Ray McDaniel, president of Moody's Investors Service, become coo of Moody's Corp. The ratings agency then created two coo roles, Brian Clarkson, senior v.p., took the one for structured finance and Chris Mahoney, senior v.p., got the fundamental ratings coo role. Both were promoted to executive v.p.
