Citigroup has hired Collin Crownover from the currency research group at Putnum Investments , as co-head of the foreign exchange advisory group. Crownover will be responsible for investor coverage, noted Didier Hirigoyen , the other co-head, who is in charge of corporate coverage.
Hirigoyen and Crownover report to Lars Olesen , global head of foreign exchange sales. Crownover replaces Laurent Desbois , who has moved to Citigroup's Montreal office to run an internal currency fund. Olesen was traveling and could not be reached by press time.
