Banque AIG has recruited Atsushi Kobayashi, foreign exchange marketer at Deutsche Bank in Tokyo, for a similar role. Kobayashi confirmed the move, but declined further comment.
Kobayashi reports to Nigel Pentland, ceo in Tokyo. Pentland and Aston Bridgman, spokesman at Deutsche Bank in Tokyo, did not return calls.
