Europe excited by rumours that Kraft will go outside US to finance Cadbury bid
Kraft Food may finance part of its bid for Cadbury from the European loan market, it was rumoured this week. The prospect surprised many as Deutsche Bank and Citi are said to be working on a purely US-funded $8bn package.
