SEC, CFTC Oppose Clearer Access To Fed Funds
The heads of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission said they are opposed to a proposal in the Senate Banking Committee’s financial reform bill that would give derivative clearinghouses access to emergency liquidity from the Federal Reserve.
