Altor completes Apoteket funding

Altor Equity Partners has successfully syndicated a Skr2.59bn (Eu265.5m) bank facility that it used to back its acquisition of Swedish pharmacies as part of the deregulation of the Swedish market.

The private equity house bought over 200 pharmacies late last year and will form the largest independent pharmacy retail chain in Sweden, to be named Apotek Hjärtat.
