Gross derivatives assets at U.S. banks soared in the third quarter.

Gross derivatives assets at U.S. banks soared in the third quarter. Bank of America saw an increase of 52% from the preceding three-month period, while JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup boosted their derivatives assets by 47% and 31%, respectively.
