Tidjane Thiam's New York Spac raises $300m

A new special purpose acquisition company backed by Tidjane Thiam, the former CEO of Credit Suisse, has raised $300m from investors.

The size of the IPO was increased from its initial $250m target due to the strength of the demand for stock.
