EU expected next week for second SURE deal of 2021

Bankers expect the European Union to come with its second Support to Mitigate Unemployment Risks in an Emergency (SURE) transaction of the year next week with the issuer planning to raise up to €20bn more in the first quarter.
Some bankers expected the EU to hit screens this week, but after no request for proposals (RFP) was sent out last week, bankers are now pointing to early March as the window for the deal.
