GMO: growth-value divide out of kilter

Growth stocks are overvalued relative to value stocks, according to Ben Inker, head of asset allocation at GMO. But in fixed income markets he is less convinced of a bubble, with central banks compressing yields.

GMO, the investment manager co-founded by Jeremy Grantham, has launched an equity dislocation strategy, which takes a long position in stocks it views as undervalued and a short position in those it sees as overvalued. The firm sees signs of a bubble in growth equities.
