Mapletree eyes S$650m for property acquisitions

Singapore-listed Mapletree Logistics Trust is funding an acquisition spree of logistics assets in Asia by tapping the equity market for up to S$650m ($479m).

The company kicked off a two-part transaction on Tuesday morning. It is offering between 222m and 228m new units in a private placement at a price between S$1.973 and S$2.027. This will be worth about S$450m, but could rise to S$500m if a greenshoe option of 25.34m units ...
