SSA 'pace must slow’ as Q4 begins

The volumes issued by SSAs this year so far have never been higher, but SSA bankers believe the pace must slow as the fourth quarter begins.

SSA issuers have borrowed €1.1tr from bond markets this year, according to Dealogic. That is €220bn more than was raised in the whole of 2017, the next busiest year on record.
